N.O.V.A. 3 another fabulous game for iPhone and iPad audience in the form of a new sci-fi FPS game for gamers all around the world. Gameloft’s console–quality app N.O.V.A. 3 is a great sci-fi FPS game that gamers would surely love to play.
Though Gameloft’s N.O.V.A. 3 game has similarities with Microsoft’s Halo but on the whole N.O.V.A. 3 is more close of being an adaptation and seems to be inspired by Halo, rather than being a pure copy or rip-off of an original concept like that of Microsoft’s Halo.
You can expect to spend some great time in N.O.V.A. 3. The gaming experience of N.O.V.A. 3 is comparable with the likes of Halo, Battlefield and Call of Duty. N.O.V.A. is a fast paced, intense, action packed game accompanied with hard hitting fire fights.
The N.O.V.A. 3 Storyline
In N.O.V.A. 3 you get to play as Kal Wardin. He is the ex-officer of the Near Orbital Vanguard Alliance. The story centers around Kal Wardin who returns to Earth in order to help N.O.V.A. to get back an ancient Judger artifact. When the artifact is recovered, Kal comes to know from one of a humanoid alien Prometheus that humanity and as well as their arch nemesis the Volterites are not ready to give up the power contained in the artifact. The story continues with Kal leading the battle to further rescue two more Judger artifacts.
Overall N.O.V.A. portrays an interesting story. The game uses voice acts and you also get to witness some really loud and laugh scenes. The characters have well evolved personalities and are thoroughly entertaining. With all these pluses, a slight shortcoming of N.O.V.A. 3 is that it might be little bit difficult for the first-timers as it assumes that you have played the earlier games in the N.O.V.A. series. It would have been of great help to the new-comers if the game had contained a short round up, a sort of summary of the previous games as well.
